Current Affairs booster

The Current Affairs Booster is a twelve week lecture series, aiming to boost the general knowledge of students aged 14-18.

​

The series consists of fourteen, ninety-minute lectures, delivered via zoom. There are twelve weekly lectures on Thursdays, 5:30-7pm UKT, plus two additional lectures in the October half term.

​

Each lecture will be delivered by an expert in their field, who is also experienced in coaching students.

The lectures are particularly useful for those students who are planning on applying for subjects like History, Politics, International Relations and Economics at University, as they will give a clear overview of a wide range of topics as well as suggested reading lists.

The lectures are held on zoom, and so convenient to access anywhere in the world.

All of our lectures will have time for a live Q&A at the end, as well as the opportunity for students to email us with any

 additional questions

that are left unanswered. 

OUr lecturers

Our lecturers are all experts in their field, and have chosen their topic to fit with their current research and interests.

Our goal is to bring the best speakers in the world and that's why our lectures are from India, South Africa, Bermuda, Mexico, America, Ireland and the UK. All of them have attended the top universities in the world, researching at institutions such as Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge.

Republic of Ireland Registration

We have a different registration process for students from the Republic of Ireland. Please use the below form if you live in Ireland, for all other locations, please use the form in the section below. 

Individual registration

Individual registration costs £100, and it entitles an individual student to attend all 14 lectures if they so wish, working out at £7.14 a lecture, or £4.76 an hour.

​

Students are also able to register for a single lecture, at the cost of £20 per lecture. 

School registration

Schools can register for a School's Pass for £1000. A school registration entitles up to 60 students from that school to attend each lecture.
